Menswear!

By special request, I made something just for guys:

These thick, cushy one-of-a-kind socks are knit by hand of gray, white and black machine-washable acrylic yarn. They measure 10" (25 cm) from top of cuff to bottom of heel and 11" (28 cm) from heel to toe. They'll stretch to comfortably fit a foot up to 14" (35.5 cm) long.

They are currently available for sale here.

I don't think I'll be making too many pairs of socks for sale because this project took me 6 days to complete!

Here's a new doily set that I just listed for sale at vermonthomespun.artfire.com yesterday.

It was inspired by the old-fashioned summer we've been having so far in Vermont. As I type this there's a refreshing breeze bringing the sweet fragrance of freshly mown grass into my office along with the songs of robins, chickadees, phoebes...oh, there's a blue jay squawking!

I imagine this set of doilies being used on a patio table for breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea, or a light dinner of salad, quiche, and lemonade. How would you imagine using these pretty pastel table toppers?

Vermont Summer Photos

Just some snapshots of summertime in Vermont. Too bad you can't smell the lavender and sweet williams, but the butterflies like it!
